Boulder Rights of Nature Symposium

You're invited to join the first Boulder Rights of Nature Symposium: "Restoring Rights to Natural Beings" on Saturday, February 2nd from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Lafayette Public Library. At this symposium, you'll learn what Rights of Nature is, what its implementation would mean in Boulder, and how it is being implemented and benefiting native species throughout North America. 

BRON will host local speakers and those from around the county that have already witnessed the success of establishing legal Rights of Nature in their communities. Some of the speakers include Marsha Moutrie, the former Santa Monica City Attorney who led the drafting of their Rights of Nature law, and Maya K. van Rossum, author of the award-winning book, "The Green Amendment."
