This immersive field course is led by Dr. Mikki McComb-Kobza, marine biologist, explorer, and CEO & Chief Scientist of Ocean First Institute, and Dr. Christopher Malinowski, accomplished shark biologist and winner of Netflix’s All the Sharks. Together, they bring decades of hands-on field research, global conservation leadership, and a shared passion for mentoring the next generation of marine scientists—offering students a rare opportunity to train alongside experts actively advancing shark science and conservation.
