Summer Camps

Our program fosters curiosity and creativity, providing you with opportunities to explore, discover, and value our marine habitats.

Our summer camps are held in person at the Ocean First Discovery Center and designed for students entering 6th-12th grades.

Do you have an interest in marine science or exploration of the natural world? Then check out our Marine Science & Conservation camps! Our program fosters curiosity and creativity, providing you with opportunities to explore, discover, and value our marine habitats. You will uncover the wonders of marine ecosystems in a blend of science and conservation strategies that researchers use! More specific topics will include: coral reef ecology, sea level rise, climate change, shark biology, marine mammals, and much more. Students will expand their knowledge while working alongside our staff scientists and conservationists.

OCEAN SCIENCE

Ocean Science & Conservation Camp

Ocean First Institute offers a unique camp for hands-on, marine adventure — even while socially distanced! Our camp fosters curiosity and creativity, providing you with opportunities to explore, discover, and value our marine habitats. You will discover our marine habitats in a cohesive blend of science and conservation. More specific topics will include coral reef ecology, sea-level rise, climate change, sharks, marine mammals, and much more. Students will expand their knowledge while working alongside our staff scientists and conservationists.
