A massive Great White Shark appeared off the coast of Hawaii a few weeks ago and researchers identified her as “Deep Blue” a shark that was previously filmed and tagged thousands of miles away in Guadalupe Island off Mexico. Dr. Mikki McComb-Kobza, our director and a shark researcher, explains in this video how more research is needed to understand the lives of Great White Sharks and why public outreach is such a vital part of their conservation
