Augustus Hoff
Augustus is a conservationist and storyteller from a small town outside of Tampa, Florida. Growing up between pines and the Gulf coast, he has dedicated his early career to connecting with others on the world’s changing ecosystems.
Graduating from the University of Florida with degrees in Journalism and Geography, Augustus’ projects have led him studying and documenting shark populations in South Africa, diving and photographing reefs in the Maldives, and being a producer for the Suncoast Emmy-winning documentary March of the Mangroves, a film telling the story of climate change in Florida.
Now, he is a graduate student at the University of Colorado, Boulder, pursuing his degree as a Master of the Environment, studying the intersection of marine policy and science communication.
