Mac Kobza

Mac was born in Ohio, but like so many others from the Heartland, ended up in Colorful Colorado! Mac is the webmaster for OFI and ensures the organization’s website and supporting materials have the best foot forward. Mac has over 18 years as a website and technology consultant as owner of Cloud Nine Computer Services, LLC. In addition, Mac is a professional wildlife biologist with a career spanning 22 years between Florida and Colorado. In Florida, following graduate school, and a short stint at USGS, Mac served as an aquatic research scientist for 7 years at the South Florida Water Management District Everglades Research Division.

Currently, Mac is the Senior Wildlife Biologist for Boulder County Parks & Open Space, where he leads an interdisciplinary team of biologists to steward this county’s spectacular natural habitats and restore its native species populations. Mac is a certified SCUBA diver, traveler, and life-long catch-and-release fisherman. He is married to Mikki, and enjoys spending happy times with their son, Nick, and labrador, Cooper in Longmont, CO.

Mac holds a M.S. in Biology from Florida International University.
